Bugle 是一种铜管乐器，形状类似小号但没有活塞或按键，常用于军队中发出信号。也可作动词使用，意为"吹号角"。

Bugle 源自古法语 bugle，最初指"野牛"，来自拉丁语 buculus（小公牛）。中世纪时，牛角被用来制作号角，因此这个词逐渐从"牛"的含义转变为"号角"这种乐器的名称。早期的号角确实是用动物角制成的，后来才改用金属制造。
