看了下lz原来的repo，你没有加入license信息，所以默认是按版权法规定all rights reserved。
但同时你注册的时候又表明同意GitHub的服务条款，所以其他人有查看、fork你的代码的权利。

如果是有license的情况下，楼上说的别人把你的repo拷贝了，然后建了一个新repo的行为，在没有违反license的情况下，是没有任何问题的。

开源不是简单的贴代码，没license并不算开源。

好吧，看反了，那是抄袭者的repo，那就是更赤裸裸的抄袭了。

Anyway，我主要是想说开源和版权的坑还是有那么一些的，需要注意。

我来歪个楼，其实不用单独建repo的。
如果你fork一个repo，你修改代码后，没有pull requests，或者人家没有接受你的代码，或者你压根儿没想贡献代码，那么你的贡献将不会算在自己profile的那个贡献图里。可是对这个项目很感兴趣想随心所欲的改，又希望贡献图里能看到commit，怎么办呢？可以找人工，将这个repo变成normal的，时间快的话半个小时就好了。
